"Man with a Camera"

I finally finished this. I affectionately call this "Plaid Dad." My father, Ken Hebert, Sr. and I were visiting the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont when I snapped the photo on board the old paddle wheel, Ticonderoga (about 2 miles in from Lake Champlain - on dry land!). We were watching an explanation of the machinery that used to run the ship and there was light coming in everywhere from all the windows on board. I just loved this pose and the light and decided that it would make a fun painting. - KH
