"Fixing the Dock"

The Auer Family Boat House on Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont is run by two very lively seniors.  My Mom, Christine Hebert and her brother, Charles (Charlie) Auer, Jr.  The work is hard and the days are long during the summer months.  This painting depicts my uncle doing one of the endless chores of maintaining the boat house - fixing one of the docks.
